Academically it is one of Sweden's strongest and broadest institutions, with major research facilities in materials and neutron science on its edge.
The location is a quiet advantage: Malmö is fifteen minutes away and Copenhagen around forty, across the Öresund bridge — so a small Swedish town comes with access to a Danish capital and its airport.
