Latvia's honest position: the degree travels better than the job market. That is not a criticism — for most students here, it is the plan.

Latvia has around two million people. Its graduate job market is correspondingly small, and outside Riga's technology and shared-services sector, Latvian or Russian will matter far more than English.
That is not a reason to avoid Latvia. It is a reason to be clear about which of the two things you are buying: a place to build a career, or an EU-recognised degree at low cost that you take somewhere else.
For most Nepali students here — particularly the medical cohort — it is the second, and planning on that basis produces better outcomes than discovering it in final year.
Since medicine is why most international students come to Latvia, this is the section that matters most.

Broad international recognition is not a Nepali licence. Practising in Nepal requires satisfying the Nepal Medical Council — a recognised university and its licensing examination.
A Latvian medical degree has genuinely broad recognition, which opens routes across the EU and beyond that a degree from the cheaper non-EU options does not. That is what you are paying the €13,500 a year for, and it is a real thing to be buying.
But if your intention is to practise in Nepal, the decisive body is the Nepal Medical Council, and its recognised list is the check that should come before you apply. Broad international recognition and NMC recognition are different facts, and only one of them licenses you at home.
It is entirely possible, and the routes are the standard EU ones — but the strategy has to be deliberate in a market this size.

Consider onward EU movement
An EU degree plus EU residence positions you for the larger markets — Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordics — which is a legitimate long game.
The comparison worth making: if working in Europe after study is your main objective, Poland, Germany, Ireland or the Netherlands present far more graduate demand. Latvia rewards a student who specifically wants its medical school, or its low costs, or its unusually easy immigration process.

One genuine structural advantage: Latvia is in Schengen, so residence here also means unrestricted movement across most of Europe while you decide.
Both are ordinary and both are well served by a Latvian degree.
For onward study or work elsewhere in the EU, your qualification needs no special recognition. For a return to Nepal, or a regulated profession anywhere, you will need attested certificates and transcripts — and you will already know how Nepal's legalisation chain works, having been through it in the other direction.
Medical graduates should begin the Nepal Medical Council process well before graduation. The requirements are published and the timing is easier to manage while you still have a university registry that answers your emails.
