Prague holds Charles University, founded in 1348 and the oldest in central Europe, along with the Czech Technical University and the University of Chemistry and Technology. Its medical faculties have taught in English for decades and draw a large international intake.
It is also where essentially all of Czechia's English-speaking employment sits — technology, shared services and international business — which matters given students here have free labour-market access from the start.

This is the point worth understanding about Czechia. In a country where you pay €10,000 in fees, the difference between a €600 and a €450 month is a modest fraction of your total. Here, on the Czech-medium route, it is essentially the whole comparison — Prague against Olomouc is a difference of thousands of euros a year with no fee to dilute it. If you are on the English-taught route the calculation softens, and if the Prague job market is your reason for coming it may be worth paying.
